My name is Anneke Zeegers, I'm 30 years old and live in Uden. Since the age of 19, I travelled to India four times for long periods. I've become fascinated by the culture and beauty of India. The special spiritual energy, the centuries old wisdom and (yoga) philosophy. But especially the ''small happiness" in the daily lives of the people there.
Since 2011 I have been practicing yoga for myself and in early 2015 I have acchieved my Yoga Teacher certificate at Yoga Alliance International, with further education in 2017. Yoga has become an essential part of my life. The possibility by means of certain postures, exercises and meditation to come closer to yourself, your "Atman" (soul), has become very valuable in life for me. Which doesn't mean to continuously float in the Lotus Posture on your yoga mat, but to stay close to yourself and devide your energy well in our daily busy life.
What inspires me is the quote:
"The real voyage of discovery is not seeking new landscapes but observe with different eyes." - Marcel Proust
From October 2016 to april 2017, I have taught Hatha Yoga classes weekly with great pleasure at Yoga Sanchara. In adition I've lived in Spain for a year to teach daily yoga classes for a Dutch organization, from which I've learned an awful lot. From end of March I'll be back in the Netherlands with fresh energy to get started with Yog-A-nneke. And I'm also looking forward to teach yoga at Yoga Sanchara again from 26 March 2018! I'd like to welcome you in my refreshing and relaxing classes!
